We may also be able to recommend some accommodation contacts, depending on areas and your needs. As we are based in the region, you can call us at any time during your visit for on-the-spot comment or help.

When you have found your property, we will still be available to give general support and can often provide useful professional contacts which most clients find helpful in the early stages - these can include:

- independent UK lawyers to advise on your purchase;

- a specialist company for currency conversion and the international transfers of funds;

- an English speaking department of a French bank, for opening an account (particularly needed if you will be arranging a French mortgage);

- an independent advisor based in the region and offering financial advice for expats living in the southwest of France or for those moving to the area;

- insurance for your French home;
